Important Information!

  • ALL kids 18 AND UNDER* are eligible, including preschoolers(*under 14 MUST be accompanied by an adult) 
  • Lunch MUST be consumed ON-SITE
  • Each child is permitted to TAKE HOME ONE ITEM from their plate that does not require refrigeration
  • Optional “UNDER 6 PORTIONS” will be available for our youngest lunch kids

  • A mix of hot and cold lunches
  • Fresh fruit and vegetables every day

  • Book nook and weekly story time, with visits from Therapy Dogs

ALTERNATE SERVICE SITES:  In the event of extreme weather or other circumstances, Lunch Service may be temporarily relocated to Ridgewood Church or the West View HUB.

2026 APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN! | NHC Summer Internship Program provides internships for high school students!

The Summer Internship Program is a non-paid program that offers students 16 years of age and older who are enrolled in high school or an accredited academic institution, the opportunity to learn about the NHC Summer Lunch Program and gain valuable on-the-job work experience in the Nonprofit Sector.  The program offers flexible work schedules, connection to the North Hills community, skills development through on-the-job training and community service hours.
